NexTech Vice President of New Products & Technologies to Co-Chair CCHIT Dermatology Work Group
Tampa, FL—July 2009 — NexTech Systems Inc.®, the leader in practice management, marketing and electronic medical record (EMR) software for dermatology, plastic surgery, and other specialties, today announced that Christina Majeed, its Vice President of New Products & Technologies has been appointed to the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®) Dermatology Work Group as co-chair. The Dermatology Work Group is composed of a diverse group of healthcare stakeholders volunteering their time and experience to develop standards-based criteria and an inspection process for electronic health record (EHR) technology used in Dermatology with the goal of accelerating the adoption of robust, interoperable health IT in that area of practice .
