Management Team

NexTech has one of the most talented and professional teams of management experts in the industry.  Your practice will benefit from our years of experience working with offices across the United States and worldwide.

Prior to NexTech, Dr. Majeed founded ExcelTech.   ExcelTech developed and provided aesthetic computer imaging simulation software for the Plastic Surgery industry.  In 1996, ExcelTech was acquired and merged with Mirror Imaging, now Canfield Imaging.
 
Prior to ExcelTech, Dr. Majeed was a project engineer, then an engineering manager, of Advanced Chassis Systems at General Motors Corporation.  During his over a decade tenure at GM, Dr. Majeed received the "Boss Kettering Award," GM's highest engineering achievement award for (in production) inventions covering 16 US patents.
 
Dr. Majeed is a successful engineer and entrepreneur.  He graduated with honors from the University of Basra in 1976 with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering.  He moved to the United States in 1982 and pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Digital Systems) from The Ohio State University.  In 1989, he earned his Doctorate in Electrical Engineering (Control Systems) from The University of Dayton.  

Charles Jaeger, JD
VP - Financial, Legal & HR
Charlie is responsible for several aspects of the business including financial, legal and HR .   He has spent more than 20 years in the software technology and healthcare information management industries.
 
Prior to NexTech he joined ExcelTech in 1996 and was part of the intial team that started NexTech.
 
Originally a CPA and tax partner for Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co., Charlie eventually started his own law practice concentrating on business startups and tax planning.  He co-founded a series of software consulting firms and value added resellers dealing with business accounting and health care management.
 
Charlie graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelors of Business Administration.  He then graduated with a JD from the University of Toledo College of Law. 

 
Rich Kulovany
Vice President of Sales
Rich is responsible for NexTech sales worldwide.  He brings with him 33 years of computer technology sales and management experience, including the last 21 years dedicated to application software.  
 
Prior to NexTech, Rich held senior management positions including Vice President North American Sales and Global Marketing at Armature; VP Sales at Atrion International; VP Supply Chain Solutions Worldwide for Baan Midmarket Solutions; and Director of Sales Western Area and Manager of North American Affiliate Operations for System Software Associates.  
 
 
Todd Tortoretti
Vice President of Business Development and Marketing
Todd is responsible for establishing all business relationships with partners.  In addition, he overseas the daily operation of all marketing and public relations strategy. 
 
Prior to joining NexTech, from 1999 to 2006, Todd was President and CEO of New Horizons Computer Learning Center of the Gulf Coast Florida.  He directed the implementation and management of the entire business model and orchestrated the acquisition of its Tampa Bay operation.  
 
Prior to New Horizons, from 1994 to 1999, he served as Director of Information for FiberNet Telecom Group where he was responsible for overseeing the company’s information services including all operational support systems (OSS).  
 
Todd earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology.
 

Christina Majeed
Vice President New Products and Technologies
Christina is responsible for developing and bringing new products to the industry. For the last three years, Christina has been responsible for developing, managing, creating processes, and training clients on the EMR.  She was integral in building the EMR product, and forming the talented team of NexTech EMR specialists from the ground up. 
 
She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-medical Studies with minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Marketing from the University of Dayton.  

 
Hesham Butty, MD
Electronic Medical Records Product Manager  
Dr. Butty graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine with specialized training in Internal Medicine.  He was published in The American Journal of Kidney Disease and won 2 awards from the American College of Physicians for excellence. 

Hesham has been an asset to NexTech in the capacity of a trainer and consultant, and brings to us his expertise as the product manager for our EMR team.
