EDGE is Back! (And here’s why you should go)

EDGE has become an annual Nextech tradition over the last eight years, one that our staff and clients look forward to. With the onset of COVID and the resulting pandemic in early 2020, of course, our last EDGE event had to be moved to a fully virtual environment. While the online format of EDGE 2021 was a success, many attendees missed the fun and camaraderie they remembered from EDGEs in the past.

Well… we are thrilled to officially announce that EDGE is back! That’s right! At EDGE 2022—which will be held February 17-19, 2022, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort in Orlando, Florida—we will be returning to a fully in-person venue. And you should absolutely go. In this blog, we are going to take a look at why.

Get Better at the Business of Growing Your Practice

Nextech’s focus for EDGE 2022 is on helping our clients get back to the business of running and growing their practices in a radically changed healthcare landscape. This year’s agenda will offer sessions that cover every facet of your practice’s operations—front office, back office, patient engagement, healthcare technology, finances and reporting. As always, coming to EDGE is an investment that will offer returns in the form of improvements to your entire business ecosystem from patient acquisition to payments and everything in between.

Speaking of this year’s agenda, attendees at EDGE 2022 will have the opportunity to gain new insight and knowledge in 16 pre-conference workshops and more than 130 sessions, 70 percent of which feature brand new content. They will learn about new and upcoming services and products that Nextech is creating to better help our clients go about the business of growing their practices. This year’s agenda also includes a keynote from Joe Mull M.Ed., CSP about rebuilding morale, addressing burnout and reenergizing employees in the wake of COVID-19.

• Expo Hall featuring official Nextech partners and other participating exhibitors showcasing products and services from more than 35 companies
• Support Station which is available for 15-minute walkup Q&A sessions the duration of the meeting so clients can have all their product questions answered

As Always, Fun Will Be Had by All

Ask anyone who has ever been to an EDGE, and they will tell you that the conference is very much a “work hard, play harder” situation. Every year we try to top the year before (and we usually succeed). EDGE 2022 is no exception, and there will be incredible evening activities to enjoy with food and fun for all.

Guests who arrive on Thursday night will be able to attend an amazing welcome reception at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort’s Cabana pool deck. On Friday night, we are kicking things up a notch with an out-of-this-world, private afterhours park event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge where attendees can enjoy rides, do a little (or a lot) of dancing and be at one with the Force!
