Bill Lucchini serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nextech where his focus is on expanding Nextech’s industry-leading product suite into a true end-to-end ecosystem designed specifically for specialty practices. Bill has spent his entire career in technology and software, most recently serving as CEO of Dealer-FX Group, Inc. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager at Sophos, a leading cybersecurity software and services company serving mid-market businesses, where he led the company’s shift to the cloud. In addition, Bill has held leadership positions at OnForce, a leading marketplace for IT providers, and Intuit, one of the largest financial technology companies in the world.

Alan brings over 20 years of experience in executive leadership roles across healthcare, enterprise workload management, and telecommunications. He holds a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, beginning his career as an engineer, and quickly transitioning into executive leadership roles with notable success at PointClickCare, FleetComplete and Dealer-FX. In 2019, he was a finalist for Canadian CIO of the Year with iTAC.

As CFO, Mike Coughlin is responsible for Nextech’s Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury functions. His role also includes accountability for product pricing. Mike brings over 25 years of experience leading customer-focused technology companies. He has a successful record of leading value creation through revenue growth, acquisitions, improved margins, driving a continuous improvement culture, and enhanced employee engagement. Mike started his career with E&Y as a CPA and graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. He joined Nextech after 5 years in related Health IT companies, from a Best in KLAS Clinical Surveillance company to a leading RCM firm. Over his career, he has continuously driven exceptional financial performance. This has cumulated into multiple exceptional value creation events for the stakeholders. He is married with three sons, and together they enjoy water sports and the outdoors.

Dr. Jason Handza serves as Nextech’s Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Handza brings his vast experience to this role while working alongside both the Development and Sales teams to improve our ophthalmology offerings. With nearly 15 years of experience in ophthalmology, Dr. Handza is the owner of Gulf Coast Retina Specialists in Palm Harbor, FL, as well as President of EyeReview, LLC. He also serves as Director and Principal Investigator for Clinical Research Center in Pinellas Park, FL.

Carl Oliveri is the Chief Revenue Officer of Nextech. With 20+ years of experience selling innovative SaaS products, Oliveri is responsible for all activities that generate revenue including GTM strategy, sales, and revenue management. Prior to joining Nextech, he served in senior sales and customer success leadership roles with leading SaaS companies including Robin, PayScale (acquired by Francisco Partners), Kenexa, and IBM.

Nicole brings years of technology and healthcare experience to help Nextech achieve its business goals by hiring and developing the best team in the industry. As Senior VP of People & Culture, she oversees the talent development and talent acquisition teams and is responsible for building a top-notch employee experience. Prior to Nextech, she led the HR functions at PowerChord, a marketing technology company, and Axiom Medical Consulting, a medical case management company.

Natalie Schaap is Nextech’s General Counsel where she is responsible for providing strategic legal counsel and mitigating risk for the business. Prior to joining Nextech, Natalie provided advice and counsel on a broad range of corporate legal matters as Senior Associate General Counsel and Senior Director of Corporate Legal Affairs at Kforce Inc., a staffing and solutions firm headquartered in Tampa, Florida.

Tera Roy is Nextech’s SVP of Ophthalmology as well as one of the longest-standing leaders in the medical informatics space. Tera is a national speaker and subject matter expert. Her lectures include EHR best practices & optimization, government initiatives, new medical technology and data analytics. She was a corneal researcher at UT medical and also practiced ophthalmic medicine before moving to the technology sector. Prior to joining Nextech in 2016, Tera successfully managed a number of leading medical tech companies.

Chris Farrell joined Nextech in 2021 as VP of Marketing. Before coming to Nextech, Chris most recently served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at GYANT, an AI SaaS healthcare tech company based in San Francisco. Prior to that, he served as the SVP, Marketing for MedData for ten years as the company grew from $15 million to $250 million. Chris has also held Marketing leadership roles with Wachovia Bank’s education finance division, Henwood Energy Services (an international energy software/consulting company), and McCormick & Company, Inc.
