Practice 2011 Terminal Server
System Requirements
The Practice 2011 system requires the following hardware and software when using Windows 2003/2008 Terminal Server Configuration (versus the client-server configuration). By using the Windows 2003/2008 Server operating system in the Terminal Server configuration, you can use older PCs as terminals or workstations. The Server carries the entire burden, so it must be powerful. For more information about Microsoft Windows 2003, 2008 Terminal Services, see http://www.microsoft.com
Please note that NexTech will support only its Practice software. Your local consultant will support your hardware, Windows operating system, Terminal Services, Network, MS Office, and all other installed software. It is recommended that your support person be Microsoft Certified. It is essential that all staff with no prior Windows experience enroll in courses on Windows and Word (usually offered by local colleges ans well as computer stores) before installation.
