New features include a highly anticipated Room Manager innovation to the Nextech iPad® application, new functionality to expedite the follow-up process with tracking claims, enhanced search functions for ICD-10 codes and simplified meaningful use reporting features. In response to customer demand, Room Manager capabilities have been added to Nextech’s EMR iPad app, allowing providers to proactively monitor which patients are assigned to exam rooms, and length of wait times. Providers are also able to individualize the rooms they are tracking with a mobile “my rooms” feature. Adding the Room Manager function to Nextech’s mobile products allows providers to manage their patients throughout the office in real time, in any location, rather than having to return to their computer in between appointments.
