Get the Most Out of Your (Virtual) EDGE 2021 Experience

Get the Most Out of Your (Virtual) EDGE 2021 Experience Blog Feature

As many of our readers are already aware, Nextech is going virtual with its Seventh Annual User Conference, EDGE 2021 (registration is now closed). After much preparation, this year's meeting will feature over fifty sessions focused on improving the performance of your specialty practice in an immersive virtual environment. Our experts will discuss ways to improve operational efficiency, increase profitability and grow your business in addition to covering the latest regulatory changes and industry trends.

In this blog, we will offer some useful tips and tricks to help this year’s EDGE attendees make sure they get the most of this new virtual conference experience.

Make the Most of Your Time

In the days leading up to the conference, we highly recommend that you log into the virtual platform to build out your agenda beforehand. After all, you don’t want to find yourself scrambling on the day of the conference to hastily set up your schedule of activities and sessions. You should also take a moment to set up your attendee profile in advance by clicking the “Update Profile” button found in the Main Lobby.

Another way to make sure you get the most out of your time during the event is to log in promptly to each session you attend. During each presentation, you should also keep a pen and paper handy to take notes and write down questions you would like to ask during Q&A sessions.

Take Advantage of Networking Opportunities

While at EDGE, virtual attendees will still be provided plenty of opportunities for networking. From the main menu, click on the “Community” button and you will be taken to a list of attendees, staff and industry experts with whom you can set up times for peer-to-peer chat or online meetups.

Choose from one of four available meeting types, depending on your needs:

  • Product Support
  • Industry Experts & Practice Consulting
  • Client Success
  • Sales

Drop by the Expo Hall

Be sure to drop by the virtual Expo Hall, which can be found on the main menu, where you can chat live with industry experts and EDGE sponsors from companies such as MyMedLeads, TriZetto, Relatient, Marsden Advisors and Encoda (among others). You can ask questions at any time by using the chat window or, for more personal attention, meet directly by clicking the “Join Live Meeting Room” button on the exhibitor’s page. These sponsors and exhibitors, many of whom will also be giving presentations at EDGE, are available in the Expo Hall throughout the event to provide attendees with information, consults and product demonstrations.

Participate in Q&As

To make sure attendees get all the information they need, this year’s virtual EDGE experience will offer a live, in-depth question and answer (Q&A) session at the end of each presentation, during which presenters will be available to expand on any points from their session for which you might need further clarification. To access these Q&A sessions, you only need to click the “Join Online” link (found just below the session description once you are logged in) after the presentation has ended.

Post Your Experience on Social Media

As always, Nextech encourages all attendees to post about their experiences at EDGE on their various social media pages. Doing this can amplify your experience as well as help you stay connected with networking contacts after the conference. To make sure your posts can be seen by Nextech staff and other conference attendees, be sure to use the #EDGE2021 hashtag.

Take Advantage of On-Demand (Until the End of April)

After the live portion of the event concludes, all sessions and resources will remain available on demand to registered attendees through April 30, 2021. Simply return to the EDGE virtual site to re-watch sessions you attended or to gain access to sessions you may have missed or were unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts.

While we may not be able to meet together physically at a fun theme park, as in years past, Nextech has made every effort to ensure attendees to our new virtual user conference will be provided with access to the same forms of high-quality educational materials and networking opportunities they have come to expect.

We look forward to seeing all of you (virtually) at EDGE 2021!
